Memoir and Creative Nonfiction

I support writers in any stage of writing who are writing an autobiography, a memoir, a family history, or other creative nonfiction.

I have many years of editorial and teaching experience. I am an empath who partners with authors to provide feedback that respects their voice and mission. I help identify the author’s purpose, look at the organization of the content, and suggest revisions to the writing and expression of ideas.

I believe in my authors and helping them their story.

My experience with memoir includes teaching Life Stories (memoir) workshops at the Somerville Public Library in Massachusetts. I received three consecutive arts grants from the Somerville Arts Council to create and facilitate these classes.

The Life Stories classes supported writers—both experienced and inexperienced— in writing the significant events in their lives. The participants wrote their truth, vulnerability, and identity. I support memoirists and creative nonfiction writers in finding the core of their story, and in how to reveal, organize, and expand their writing.
